Does the app require a connection?
No. The 63-species catalog, Metal specimens, lessons, quizzes, offline Q&A, favorites, and field notes work offline. A connection is used only when you explicitly open an external iNaturalist page.
Where is my content stored?
Favorites, learning history, notes, and photos you select stay on your device. Removing the app removes this local data, so export anything you need first.
How do I report a problem?
Update iOS/iPadOS and the app, restart it, then include your device model, OS and app versions, reproduction steps, and a screenshot. Do not post personal or sensitive information publicly.
